Like the film “Twelve Angry Men” , being number eight was always my dream. 808 in my view could be a sign of freedom in creativity and open space for following limitless dreams. When I started my first website Saze808.com from 2007 I was very thrilled about liberal freedom on the Internet. Until 2020 I devoted my whole time to building a virtual space and trying to connect civil engineers with each other under Civil808.com (social network website). But in 2020 after some human catastrophic events besides entering the Corona quarantine and some political problems and rejecting international visas gradually I found myself in a big prison so I decided to expand my work to other knowledge and try to find my own historical self consciousness. So I started an internal journey.
And in following of this journey after encountered with historical pain about house economy now I decided to run an international website on ED808.com to try to edification in this subject without any limitless.
Edification means two things. Besides improving and teaching that is effective to cultural hegemony the other meaning of this word is structuring a house.
Yes In continuing my previous work and for seismic retrofitting I want to be alive and spread tolerance and perspective education instead of ideology. So after Civil808 and trying for civilizing Persian civil engineers I think it’s time to try ED808 for edifying international engineers around the world.
To reach this goal I want just a lever and somewhere to stand as Archimodeus said: “give me somewhere to stand and lever long enough and I shall lift the Earth.”
Like a fair house built on another man's ground; so that I have lost my edifice by mistaking the place…
