These days we can see the real face of some Europeans who are like NIMBYs and do not allow any from the Middle East to come in their backyards, fearing of changing the majority of their local community.
It is like the period of Coronavirus when people in fear of getting disease, prevent others from coming near their house.
Now the world is bearing another epidemic that is like plague and could infect other countries who are now apparently in peace.
So in this concept their concerns are excusable but at least they can stay silent and instead of supporting by word, try to prove their words in reality.
In our currently dark days in Iran, people are fighting with their bare hands without any serious help from Europeans, they just keep trying to shout without even accepting any risks in their own backyards.
NIMBYs are now widespread throughout the world and people are all afraid of this black plague of the Islamic republic of Iran in the Middle East which can infect their own houses.
How brave just keep talking about Iranian protests but in reality leave them alone. It’s worse than Trump’s aid package for Iranian people.
We know that because of the constantly moving earth, everything is changing. Seas, mountains and because of these we have earthquakes.
For resisting earthquakes, the simplest way is just to retrofit our existing buildings, but the other way is to tolerate each other and share our backyards.
We remember some examples from the US and Britain during WWII for some Jews and other minorities who were in extreme situations between life and death and in need of a Visa for leaving Germany. On the contrary of propaganda of making just one side fascism, in reality both sides just had their focus for the amount of assets that these immigrants had at that time. so If they couldn’t prepare assets, not important that how much were they high-skilled or in danger in Germany, they would reject their applies and send them back to another partners of their fascism pattern inside the Germany that would lead their destiny either in camp or even suicide.(Walter Benyamin for example)
NIMBY’s assets are not as important as humanity.
